All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I find some free coding to create a new type of activity and then find some suitable content. Any content can be adapted to any activity. All I need is feedback and requests.

The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2024/01/animal-habitats-labelling-pictures-red.html A picture catalogue of all of my resources can be found at https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com/ I wanted to create an activity in which learners “taught themselves”. I created an invisible framed grid which could overlay a picture. By making those same frames appear coloured when hovered over meant I could write the labels to particular items within the picture. I had the vehicle that allowed learners to to label their own picture. By adding the typewriter script I also had the means to direct learners to find the specific items within the picture. This became an activity which could be used for any topic of the curriculum in which labelling was important. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH. They are created as TEMPLATES for you to adapt and add your own content. The screenshots can be downloaded simply as worksheets. The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated. They are meant to develop transferable skills and be cross curricular. As a result they hopefully reinforce small chunks of information and give a better understanding of a topic. Most of the activities are aimed at UK National Curriculum KS1 and KS2. Contact me at : learnanytime@gmail.com

The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2023/06/rhyme-time-vegetables-1.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com Another activity based on a game from Richard Osman’s House of Games [BBC2]. It was harder to find the rhyming words with these particular topics of fruit and vegetables than I thought. Although maybe a useful extension activity the research part is very time consuming. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I know nothing of computer coding but started with one piece of free coding and have been adapting that by incorporating additional free coding. Again it puts learners in control of the pace at which they learn as they don’t need to learn what they already know. They can make it disappear. I have managed to incorporate an animation in one of the frames. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. Following on from [appearing pictures with questions] I wondered if the same format could be used to give learners information. I found that the greatest advantage was that once you had a number of facts in the labels with relevant pictures, subsequent facts and pictures could be added and slotted in at the appropriate position. By highlighting specific words, explanations as to their meanings could be given making the understanding of the topic more thorough. This might be an appropriate activity for catch-up, revision or consolidation. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. These I see as starter or filler activities. Always to hand, 10 at a time, covering all topics, a calming influence as learners have to read. So you could just use the video clip as a Learning activity simply by making the clip full screen.
